- Ellen is a Speech/Language Pathologist with a sub-specialty in vocal rehabilitation, with advanced training at the Medical University of South Carolina, The Voice Foundation, and The Voice Center at the University of Pittsburgh
- She specializes in working with clients who have mechanical problems related to functional misuses of voice or improper voice bio-mechanics
- Ellen is also a specialist in working with clients suffering from neurological deficits and resultant voice and/or swallowing deficits
- She works with performing artists and media talent who have changes in vocal funtion such as loss of singing range, vocal quality, pain, or hoarseness
- Finally, Ellen works with clients who are medically compromised by allergies and digestive, respiratory, or structural deficits
